Hermès petit h
New York City Holiday
Experiential retail creates intrigue and desire for new and exclusive products.
petit h
by HERMÈS.
Petit h is a unique creative space presented by Hermes where traditional craft skills and original creative thinking converge. The brand is only showcased twice a year in different cities around the world.
PROJECT SCOPE
Petit H is a workshop that brings together artisans and artists to produce one-of-a-kind products using materials that Hermès métiers no longer use, such as leather, silk, and porcelain. We were tasked with creating a one-of-a-kind Christmas pop-up experience in New York City to introduce this product to new and existing customers. We teamed with the Hermès and petit h teams in New York City to develop a one-of-a-kind pop-up experience centered on the concept of an advent calendar with windows that open to reveal fantastic surprises, chapters from the petit h story, and, of course, merchandise. These intimate moments were created for clients to enjoy the petite h creative realm, which goes beyond mere spectacle. The workshop encouraged customers to feel the crucial balance of the physical and the imaginative, and even allowed them to produce their own original work. The workshop generated the highest revenue in the brand's history and merchandise sold out three times faster than projected.

ANIMATION OF THE WORKSHOP INSPIRED
BY HERMES
Consumers navigate a mythical illustrated petit h workshop using the wheel, and listen to a stylized soundtrack of objects being hammered, stitched and sanded. The handle triggers surreal animated surprises within the workshop, for instance a product coming to life.
The porcelain blade adjusts the soundtrack to highlight different tools and elements.
